Colorado Springs home prices are very affordable, according to The Gazette 11/14/2015.

Colorado Springs is ranked as one of the most affordable Cities in Colorado. The 28th least expensive  city in the state of Colorado. (Pretty darn cheap, since the survey only included 31 Cities) Nationwide Colorado Springs ranked 1,457 putting it in the lower half of communities according to the Caldwell Banker Home Listing Report this past week.

The average price for a 4 bedroom 2 bath house in Colorado Springs averaged $252,175. The most expensive place in Colorado? Boulder Colorado! The same house in Boulder would run a cool 1million Dollars! Nationwide the most expensive city is Newport Beach California. A 4 bedroom 2 bath house would run at an average price of $2.3 million dollars.

Dirk Draper, president and CEO of the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance pointed out that, “Colorado Springs is an affordable place to live for employers and their employees. That is the one key factor in our favorable cost of living here.”

This coupled with recent reports of higher rents, with low vacancy rates, would indicate owning a home is a much better option than renting.

All this makes a good argument for finding and buying a house in Colorado Springs.  So, if you’re looking to sell your house in Colorado Springs, you are in a good market to sell to a majority of buyers. If you are looking to buy a house in Colorado Springs, You will get a good value for your buying dollar.
