My name is David Van Gorder, owner/investor with Bonnie Buys Houses Fast. My wife Bonnie and I buy and sell houses all over El Paso county.

As a business, we buy and sell homes for a profit to make a living. It provides us with a good lifestyle and the freedom of owning our own business.

It has not always been like this for us. I have gone through difficult times. I know what it is like when selling your home in a challenging situation. It happened to me early in my marriage, and I have never forgotten it. Just like you, my main concerns were my family and my financial future.

Because of our business and what we do, we have the excellent opportunity to help people along the way. Every house we buy comes with the most important commodity that we work with. People! With actual wants, needs, and families. Yes, we bought this house, fixed it up, and are selling for a profit. Yes, you see a picture of the house above, but it also comes with a story and the people we were able to help.

Phil & Liz were a military couple with three small children. Phil was facing a military transfer to another base in another state. They had little equity in the house, and it needed updating and repairs. They were also unable to carry the payments if they had decided to list and sell the house. We agreed to buy the house on the date that they were transferred.

We also paid them enough to help with moving costs and put money in their pocket until they were set up in the new military base. This saved their credit and made a stressful situation less burdensome for the family. This is just one example of a house story that has played out hundreds of times.

When we buy houses, of course we are trying to make a living, but we are also doing all we can in helping people improve their story. We always do our best to provide a win-win situation, which usually involves helping with financial issues and providing a safe and secure solution for their family.

For the hundreds of times we have bought someone’s house to help them, there are hundreds of times we have just given them hope and advice and not bought the house because there was a better solution.
